Under the theme <strong>Rethinking Strategies to Promote the Rights of Young Women and Girls<\/strong>, this workshop aimed at reviewing the results of the diagnostic study and developing innovative initiatives for a better consideration of the needs and aspirations of young women and girls in development interventions.<br \/>\nSeveral recommendations resulted from this meeting, including the need to establish a mentoring system for young women and girl leaders in the region, to create a flexible financial support system for organizations advocating for the rights of young women and girls, to establish a support system for young women and girls organizations, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following the 2019 diagnostic study, IPBF brought together 40 young women and girls from the francophone West African countries that took part in the diagnostic study for a consultation workshop.
