In the course of 2019, IPBF carried out one of its most important initiatives: a diagnostic study on the situation of young women and girls in francophone West Africa. This study, which involved nine countries, namely Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo, was an opportunity to better understand and identify the current needs and aspirations of young women and girls in the region. It was also an opportunity to rally various young women and girls organizations around common objectives. At the end of the study, a restitution workshop was organized to share the results with our technical and financial partners.
